White Mountain K-9 Academy, LLC Training Class Checklist

Soon, you and your dog will begin a training adventure. If you're new to dog training at our facility, this helpful checklist will provide you the preparations you will need to make prior to arriving.

____1) Vaccinations - We require a photocopy or original that we can KEEP of your pet's vaccination paperwork. Rabies, Distemper, and Canine Cough (double check your vaccination paperwork, the canine cough vaccine isn't usually given as a routine vaccination like Rabies and Distemper) must be current. For the safety of our other customers, no pet will be allowed into a class without all three current vaccinations. There is a charge if we must telephone your veterinarian.

____2) Control - All dogs must be leashed and under control when arriving, exiting the vehicle, and upon entering into the building.

____4) Pet Bathroom - Once you arrive, please take your dog to the edge of the parking area.
FOR GROUP PROGRAMS: The Youth Center is providing this conveniently located space to us as a courtesy. PLEASE clean up after your dog and do not allow them to urinate on the building.
FOR PRIVATE SESSIONS AT THE ACADEMY: Once you arrive, please take your dog to the red fire hydrant on the right side of the parking area. This is our designated "pee and poop" area. Please, please, please! do not allow your dog to eliminate on the house, bushes, or along the walkway in front of our home. Do not worry about cleaning up after your dog, our staff will tend to any necessary "clean ups".

____5) Food and Water - We ask that you do not feed or give your dog water for three hours prior to class time. The excitement of class causes may dogs to eliminate inside the building or need to be taken out during class, if they arrive with a full stomach or bladder. Also, since we use treats in many of our commands, a "tummy full" dog will be much less interested in a "treat" reward.

____6) There is no smoking anywhere on the premises of Ebony Kennel or White Mountain K-9 Academy, LLCor other locations being used by us.

____7) Class tuition is paid prior to the beginning of class. You may also purchase any needed supplies at this time. We accept MasterCard, Visa , Cash, or local personal check. There are no refunds for any reason for group classes. If it is determined that your dog is unable to continue in a group setting, your remaining tuition may be applied to private classes.

**IMPORTANT NOTE FOR ALL SESSIONS AND CLASSES**

All offerings are charged a non-refundable $50 deposit. If you cancel withing 48 hours of your scheduled appointment time, you may apply the deposit to another class. Your deposit is non-transferrable. For Private Class Packages, at the end of the first class you may choose to continue training and pay or not continue training and be under no obligation to pay, at which point we will refund your deposit, minus any applicable travel fees. We understand that the instructor-student relationship, pet-instructor relationship, or training methods may not be compatible in all cases, therefor you are given one class to "feel out" the next four weeks before you pay.The guaranty applies only to private offerings. We do not issues refunds for any reason for group classes.

We require at least seven days notice to cancel your group training. If less than seven days notice is given, your credit card will be charged the full class tution charge. You may re-book for the next available group training class. As we book out your time slot for seven weeks and turn other students away; we must charge for the full time.
